What are the differences between collaborative robots traditional industrial robots?

Due to the reasons of the project, we have had various exchanges investigations with the major collaborative robot manufacturers on the market. There is still a big difference between our understanding of collaborative robots  traditional industrial robots .

      First, the loads are different. Collaborative robots tend to handle precision processing, which also results in different application areas. Second, the collaborative robot's anti-collision function can save the safety fence ensure the safety of the operator; the collaborative robot's drag--teach function does require the operator to fully master the programming language. Simple training can get started directly. All robots need human maintenance adjustment, it's just a matter of how much. The more reliable the machine is the more operable it is, the less human worry it will require.

      Traditional robots collaborative robots both perform repetitive prescribed actions. this point of view, there is no difference. Only in this way can the degree of automation be high. The purpose of designing human-machine collaborative robots is to overcome some of the shortcomings of traditional robots specialize in the market of finer customized operations. They cannot replace traditional robots. Although they have been widely used yet, it mainly depends on the load of collaborative robots. You will know that large parts cannot be processed. Small size is an advantage of collaborative robots. The premise of this advantage is that both collaborative robots traditional industrial robots are capable of this task. Because of its small size, light weight, simple installation debugging, the same machine can be moved relatively conveniently (two people can rearrange the collaborative robot) re-taught, which greatly improves the flexibility of the production line reduces investment. On the other hand, for traditional industrial robots, if there is a slight change in position, it takes a long time to manually adjust the controller, to mention that if the position is moved for a new production process, the entire floor fence need to be redone, which is basically as troublesome as reinstalling.
