Summary of magnetic absolute encoder: An encoder is a device that compiles converts signals data into signals that can be used for communication, transmission, storage. The encoder converts the angular displacement linear displacement into an electrical signal. The former is called a code disk, the latter is called a code ruler. According to the reading method, the encoder can be divided into contact type non-contact type; according to the working principle, the encoder can be divided into incremental type absolute type. The incremental encoder converts the displacement into a periodic electrical signal, then converts this electrical signal into a count pulse, the number of pulses represents the magnitude of the displacement. Each position of the absolute encoder corresponds to a certain digital code, so its indication is only related to the starting ending positions of the measurement, to the intermediate process of the measurement.
